Thematics (Work in progress)

New technologies are changing our relations with the political and democratical objects. For nearly 20 years, democraties of the planet are experimenting electronic voting. Despite serious problems encountered by e-voting systems in terms of security and transparency, e-voting appears as a natural evolution. Alongside e-voting, we see the apparition of e-democracy and e-citizenship. Thematics is a tool to help e-citizens in the appropriation of their virtual territory by giving them a representation.

Thematics is several tools:

• search tool find and locate elected representative or political figures
• Map tool View répartition of opinions and interests on a map and have a view of its own position viewing the thematic.
• Mini tool Select people and prepare a confrontation
• Network tool See how people are organized in groups around a thematic.
• Personal tool See how our own interests are repartited

Thematics is the project I run for my two diplomas. My design master's degree from l'Ecole de design and my research master's degree from l'ENSAM. This project is a work in progress during my internship in the médialab of Sciences Po in Paris.
